Default del sol guys

i have only had a civic and im gettin a del sol .... when you buy stuff is it the same as a civic? like suspension and what not ..... the car has good spring/shock setup but was interested in lca's and possibly rear tie/sway bar combo

it shares suspension, brakes (except ebrake cables), and the engine bay with an eg civic.

true, but if you're gonna swap, the 's' is the best model, its the lightest.

im not to to worried about hp ... im gonna autocross most likely ... the car im gettin is an si with a bunch of stuff on it ... and to mikey i have already had a couple b16's so i know what they are capable of .. seen my sig ?

not tryin to be an ******* ... but i already have my car picked out ... plus i havent seen any del sol vtec's in forever ... well not in my area.... but thanks for the info ... so when i got to get turbo stuff its the same as a 92-95 ex because i have a z6 mota right?

Pretty much anything that bolts to a z6 in one chasis will work on another chasis. The only thing that might throw you would be the mounting of accessories and maybe AC and radiator.

As long as its a 93-95 sol, yes. If I was looking for a sol now, it would be a 95 si. That year is still OBD-I, has the low gas light, trunk popper, rear discs, and stock rear anti-roll bar. Just need to find a busted 96-97 for the black trim pieces and front bumper

or you could just buy stuff for a Del Sol... most of the crossover stuff are the same, but they do sell stuff for the Del Sol.

suspension is interchangable with 92-95 civic and 94-01 integra(except type-R). whenever you go to a parts store and request a part just ask for any 94-97 del sol VTEC model.

the VTEC version is not that great. I have one, its ok. Not fast tho. LIke its nothing to rave about like a CTR or something.....but still great car
