del sol door lock problem

Default del sol door lock problem

ok when i get out of the sol, i lock the door normally, it seems like it locks. but when i close the door i can still open it. the only way it stays locked is if i use the key after its closed...wtf?

I do believe you have to hold you inside door handle open then push to lock it, then let go off the inside handle then cose it.

Well whats the problem then?
If you know soo much take your door panel off and see if something came loose.

if i knew what the problem was i wouldnt be asking....anyway...like i said, it seems like it works right. the lock wont flip if u dont pull the handle just like it should, and it flips fine when u do. but then the door still opens

Try taking your door panel off and removing your weather plastic/sound dampener. Get a light and look around inside the door at all the coonections. There are these plastic holse with a clip, pole goes in the hole, lol, then the clip clicks into place. Sometimes, these bust because there made of the worlds cheapest plastic (cost efficient to honda). Try that and keep posting cuz.

yea imma try that...i had a problem like that on my ek, the pole kept popping out of the lil plastic clip and the hole, and i coulndt open the door from inside

Dude I've been there you actually have to role down the window, and get out like a dipshit, I know it sucks.

Those clips can be bought anywhere to fit it. Maybe 50 cents a piece or something like that.
