Del Sol Coil/Strut fitment problem
Hey guys I have an issue with my coils. Not very experienced and kind of new to the scene but I have Function & Form Type One coils that I've bought used. I tried to change out my stocks on my Del Sol (95) but the struts didn't fit the front fork shocks. The diameter of my forks are too wide and the strut is loose and won't tighten up. Noob mistake but I believe the F&F's came off a 91 Civic. So now I'm wondering:
-If I buy EF forks, would it fit in the Del Sol?
-Would there be any difference in changing these parts right away? I've heard that the forks are a bit shorter so the car will already sit 1-1.5 inches lower.
-Also would DA forks fit as well? I'm thinking of going to a JY to pick up some parts.
Thanks for any help or input!

Amazing how you already know that the forks will drop your car that much but then turn around and ask if they'll fit.
I would Google this.
Holy crap! I did!
Take some initiative.

You can install them if you use the front lower shock forks from an '88-91 Civic/CRX. The del Sol front lower forks are too large in diameter.
They are shorter overall than the correct coilover assemblies for your vehicle, so you'll gain some damper compression travel but lose some droop travel. It shouldn't be much of a problem as long as you're using stock upper control arms in the front.
