Default del sol b16 into eg

I know this has probably been brought up many times but i cannot find definite answers and i want to make sure and have my stuff straight. i've got a turbo'd jdm b16 in my del sol currently and ran into some problems with the body and want to swap my motor into an eg hatch or coupe. My questions are is it a direct swap over? what parts and stuff would i need to swap over to a eg? and is this the easiest model to swap a b16 into?

Thanks in advance.

I believe it will all mount up fine. You'll need 94-01 integra shift linkage or 99-00 Si. And of course depending on your civic model the wiring for vtec and knock will vary.

So i'll basically just need 1 or 2 minor things here and there?. But the majority of it is already there?

everthing will bolt up. keep the engine harness. plug it into the new eg. use the ecu from the del sol also. im guessing the ecu and engine harness is already for the vtec. thats why i say use it. i thought the shift linkage was the same.

He doesn't have the car yet so unless its an EX/Si/Vx (or any 92 model) it won't have vtec wired at the shock tower. And if you are using a P30 ECU you'll have to wire up the knock sensor too.

i got cha man sry i miss read it. i really did think the del sol b series shift linkage was the same. im glad i know now.. sry for the wrong info. on the wiring i was thinking its still obd1. which would plug into the factory eg engine harness. rywire has a vtec overlay harness that will come with the vtec harness and the knock sensor plug correct? i think thats what i had to do to my old DC2 when i swapped in the B20/vtec
