i am about to buy some 3" mandrel bent piping and an es oval muffler. but i want to have a clean tip on it. dc sports and tanabe both have a muffler that looks like the es oval, but has a very clean and very suttle tip to it that extends to the back of the bumper. i love the way that tip looks, but i don't know where i can find one w/ a 3" inlet, and probably about 3-4" outlet? anybody know. please help. thanks

I checked jc whitney (I know, I know) for you, but couldn't find any tips with your specifications. Not sure who else sells just tips?

i'm not sure,i have tried optauto.com, and procarparts.com. but neither had a tip worth buying. i was looking in an aerospeed book ( leave it alone) and they had the right style, but not for a 3" inlet. and same thing with vibrant. maybe i can buy a cheap one, and paint it black. along with the muffler? thanks for your effort though.

does ES even make 3" mufflers? if not, then that's going to be a fat restriction if used with 3" piping.

and to no avail, i couldn't find any tips worth your money, either. all the DC Sports ones i saw were like a 2.25" inlet.

i'm not sure if it is a real es oval.... but it looks identical. made by magnaflow. and the one i am getting does have 3" inlet/outlet. thanks for looking though
