DC cluster in EG
What mods will i need to do to fit a clutster from a 94-up teg or a type r into a 95 dx hatch? Is it possible?

Re: DC cluster in EG (Big Carbon)
it is possible, but you need to reset the pins to plug into the cluster you are using. get the clips off the new cluster and just set the pins into the correct locations. you need both manuals to compare the wiring diagrams. also, it will not fit flush into the dash. it will kidna just be sitting there. you can get custom brackets made, but then the $$$ might be something to consider.

Re: DC cluster in EG (Big Carbon)
I've seen pics of a DC2 gauge cluster in the stock eg dash. Don't know what it take to get it to physically fit in there. I will tell you the wiring will need to be redone. Take the integra plugs, use either a manual or the back of the cluster and trace the leads to find out what each wire is for, label and clip the harness. do the same for the stock clutster. Match up wires in your car to the wires in the dc harnesses, plug and play.

Re: DC cluster in EG (Big Carbon)
I just put an '01 itr cluster in my '94 CX. It was a pain, you need to go to the dealership and get the schematic diagram for a 92-95 civic and for a '98 and up gsr or itr. You do need the plugs that plug into the back of the cluster from an integra as well. I just cut and used heatshrink, the fitment is alright, small gaps on the side. I just used a dremel with a cutting disk to kinda cut away at the side to fit the kind of oval shape of the itr cluster. To hold on place, I got 3in. long by 1in. wide metal brackets from the hardware dept @ Home Depot and long screws with wing nuts to hold it in place. Love the new cluster since I dont like big bulky auto-meter tachs and i like the amber lighting from the cluster. Hopefully I will have time to post some pics this weekend.

If push comes to shove, you can just follow the leads on the back sheet on the cluster. Little more time consuming but does the job. I couldn't find a manual that had a wiring diag. for a 99si.

i can give you my wire diagram i made to do my swap and it's this particular one you want to do. you need the plug for the tegra cluster and as much of the wires for it to spice and have no length problems. you can't just repin because the pin and pin ports are different sizes. im me if you need the diagram but it's easy to figure out.

I have a complete ITR dash and gsr gauge cluster in my 93 civic SI hatch. It was, for the most part, mostly a bolt in deal. You have to modify the teg side dash mounts to fit to the civic. The dash doesnt fit perfect..but its pretty close. The hardest part is doing the wiring. I had a complete ITR dash harness..but i ended up using the civic harness. I had to cut, extend, and modify some wires. The gauge cluster was the hardest, as you need to cut the civic plugs and install the teg plugs which have about 15 more wires which i ended up not using. (like the service light, and the abs, stuff like that)
I have many picturse of the install...here ya go..
