Dash Electrical of 2000 civic si diff from reg 96-00 EX???
Got a 2000 SI that need a whole bunch of wiring and fuse pannels plus other stuff replaced due to animal chewing on it. Can I just swap all that wiring under the dash of any 96-00 civic ex to the si??? Please let me know if it is a direct swap / replace if it is from an ex mod. Many thanks.

Most of it is the same, your best bet will be to get the ex harness (if you can't find an si harness) and compare them side by side and add/relocate the ones that are missing/wrong (which shouldn't be many)

The harness has to be from a '99 - '00 civic, '96 - '98 are different and incompatible. The EX should be a direct swap. CX and DX harnesses will most likely involve adding wiring for cruise, power options and the moonroof.

I have an SI that many of the wires from under the steering wheel and fuse side panels got chewed up and just trying to get the model of civic that will swap in the wiring the easiest that is all. Another SI will be great but I think the civic ex would be cheaper to buy & strip it over. So far it sounded like a 99-2000 model to make things easier. Thanks.....
