dash/cluster lights
i know this has been coverd many times. everyone will tell me to go to autolumination.com but thats not what i want.
in my 94 civic i read in the FAQ that you need 4-5?? #24 bulbs and 1 #74 bulb wihich makes since.
when i took out my cluster it had all different size bulbs. someone else was in the cluster cause it had the ricey white face gauges...got rid of them.
but my ? is i went to my local parts store and the #24 bulbs wont fit into the the bulb socket. in fact it broke the socket when i put it into it.
where can i get the bulb socket and the correct bulbs? can a #74 just go in every spot and it still be bright as a #24? i even tried majestic honda but no luck.

try the NAPA brand #24 bulbs I had trouble with the #24 bulbs too but I got some from NAPA and they actually fit better than the other ones as for the sockets I would think that your local auto parts store would cary them or Honda dealership

Re: (Unit44justin)
all i have around here is autovalue or autozone. autovalue in town doesnt have any except the ones that already come with the #74 bulbs in it. i tried them and they didnt seem bright enough. the brand was wagner.
but thanks ill see but i think the closest napa is like 45 minutes away from me.

I'm not 100% sure, but I would guess that all you need is 5 #4's. That's the #24 size bulb, then I think maybe a #1 or #2 for the #74 bulb.

Re: (NBPej1)
i had no idea that it was under METER COMPONENTS. thats why i couldnt find it.
i checked out myhondapartsstore.com and compared it to hondaautomotiveparts.com and i would save almost 8$. just for future ref.
but thanks.
