99 Civic Dash Cluster LED Bulb Sizes
I am trying to get the bulbs needed to replace and upgrade to LED Bulbs in my cluster. All i can find information wise is 194 and 74, There is only 1- 194 needed for the cluster then the 74s are for notifications and overhead gauge bulbs. I cannot find the middle size bulbs that fill the rest of the lights for the gauges. Does anybody know? The 194s are too big and the 74s are too small.

So since nobody seems to know or wants to post the bulbs needed for the gauge cluster, I spent a couple days trying to figure this out.
HERE ARE THE SIZES.
The bulbs you will need the most of (12 bulbs) are bulbs #74 (T5)
These bulbs are used for the notifications, turn signals and the 2 lights on the top that provide overhead gauge illumination.
The amount of bulbs needed can vary depending on what notification lights your car is equipped with. With my 99 Civic LX 12 of these bulbs are required. Can and will vary depending on vehicle.
The next set of bulbs are the middle amount needed (4-6 bulbs) and these are #24 (T6.5, T6 1/2, T2 1/4)
These bulbs are used for: 4 of the bulbs are used for behind gauge illumination. 1 bulb is used for the low gas notification light. 1 bulb is used for the cruse control notification light. (6 bulbs total)
The biggest and last bulb required is #194 (T10)
This bulb is the biggest one that goes pretty much directly in the center of the gauges.
I do not know why they didn't just use all #194s or #24s for the cluster, they have to make it difficult.
When looking at the twist sockets the bulbs will go with these color twist sockets:
#194- Biggest brown twist socket with the wire connected to it.
#24- These will be the 4 smaller brown twist sockets and the grey twist socket (also the twist socket for the cruse control).
#74- these will be all the black twist sockets.
These are just for the gauges and notification lights. If you have an automatic with the gear display on the cluster, I have not gotten around to checking out what these bulbs are: I will post again in the future when I get around to it.
If anybody has anything to add to this please do! I want people to be informed on stuff that nobody wants to or cares to post about.

I would like to bump this. Nice write up and very helpful. I am more than half way through my 99 HX restoring process. I am installing the led lights and can’t figure out what are the bulb and wedge sizes for the Climate Control back lighting, hazard. Let me know if you ventured this deep into the led swap. Thanks again.

Does anyone else have an issue with light bleeding over to the other light slots? I know that's worded funny so an example would be when my CEL is on the two or three other lights surrounding it appear to be on but really dim. They're not on, it's just the light from the CEL bleeding over to their slot. Same goes with pretty much any light (e.g., brights, seatbelts, brake) and these are the stock bulbs! I want to put LEDs in all the slots but I can only assume this would make things worse with much brighter lights... any way to shield the other slots from light bleed?
Btw, I just discovered a weeks ago that I'm supposed to actually be able to see the climate settings at night. There are bulbs back there! They're pretty well hidden but I would like to know the sizes as well because all of them except the hazard one are blown.

Re: 99 Civic Dash Cluster LED Bulb Sizes
i cant seem to find the #24 anymore only at superbrightleds. On ebay they advertise as t6.5 wedge but when you get them they are actually t10 the bigger one. I bought some #74 to put in the ilumination ones hopefully they fit. i dont wanna buy the superbrightled's led cuz idk if they will fit * coming from past experience* and they are expensive

Re: 99 Civic Dash Cluster LED Bulb Sizes
Does anyone have a set where all the brightness match? I was using Luyed bulbs, but they don't all list the lumens or show a matched set, so my 194 bulbs are brighter than my 74 bulbs, which is annoying since that's the big bulb in the middle being brighter than the others. If someone has part numbers, that would be nice.
Totally appreciate the sizing, I was lost as well. I had the 74 bulbs but wasn't sure what the rest were.
