DA(90-90 integra) and eg civic parts interchangeability
What's going on fellas?
Like the title says; I have a 1993 integra that I love dearly, but as of late, the body has been corroding badly....A close friend has a 93 civic hatch, that is stock and always has been, but the body is immaculate, not one door ding! He's is selling it to me very cheap...My question is what components, beside the power train can I still use on the eg?? As far as suspension components, and whatever else can be used??

Re: DA(90-90 integra) and eg civic parts interchangeability (range)
I believe the suspension will bolt up (shocks and springs) but the spring rates will be different than springs designed for a civic.. This will make your ride a bit harsher.
I am not sure about the rear trailing arms and brake setup.. If the civic doesnt have rear disc you should upgrade from the integra.. You can also upgrade the front spindles for bigger brakes in the front but once again im not sure if the 2nd gen knuckles are the same as the 3rd gen.
I have 3rd gen integra knuckles and trailing arms and they bolt right up. Someone let him know if the 2nd gen will work as well..

Re: (93 EJ1)
The front brakes, sway bar, strut bars, e-brake cables WILL NOT be able to be swapped over. However, the rear discs can be swapped over with the correct e-brake cables. For a how-to, do an ARCHIVED SEARCH under my username and there is a how to with pics. You can use the motor, but unless you run the Hasport tranny conversion, you will need to get a hydro tranny. You can't use the mounts and will need to get the driver's side mount and mount bracket (part that bolts to block), tranny mount, and rear bracked from a 94+teg. Best of luck

Re: (JDMH22HATCH)
why wont the ebrake cables work?
I say try it and if they dont, then get new ones.
I had a 00si setup on my 92cx and I used the 00si cables.
Worked fine for me, but most people cant seem to do it,
and just waste money on new cables.
