Default D16Z6 V-TEC Solenoid Oil Leak. Help

My V-TEC solenoid is leaking. Obviously this is bad and looks extremely easy to fix but is this the sign of something more to come? Chances are it is just the gasket but if my V-TEC solenoice is also bad then should I be worried or should I just replace it and not worry if my car has been running great?

thats the plan  im just more concerned if more problems are going to arise due to this. the previous owner said he didnt even know about the leak but it looks like a relatively new leak. i love this car though. a part that would cost $400 on my dc5 costs like $50 for the ej1 lol
