D16z6 transmission???? is it better then a D16 non-vtec tranny for a EJ/EK

i have a non-vtec EJ coupe, i wanna build it up but not sure, is the transmission any better than the one i already got

a 92-95 or 96-00 ex transmission has shorter gears (better acceleration) and is a noticeable upgrade for your DX.
