Default EG and EK D-series shift linkage the same?

Do 92-95 Civics with D-series engines use the same shift linkage as 96-00 Civics with the D-series engine?

TIA

D16Z6 original came out of 92-95 civic SI/EX. And the CRX were all cable.

Unless it's been swapped before, the only D16 that came in the CRX was the D16A6.
