Default d16z6 timing belt

i was doing some maintenance on my del sol and i noticed the timing belt was kind of loose on the exhaust side. Im new to hondas so is this normal? i get this noise from the engine that i know should not be there. sounds like valve tapping but i recently adjusted my valves and it didnt help the noise. anyway here is a vid i took. does my belt need to be tightened? you can see it really moves at around 13 secs into the vid... thanks for any help

Yeah bro...does look a bit loose..you maybe want 1/4 inch of play tops...you may want to invest in a new tensioner or see if you can adjust yours...but u might be better off just replacing so you don't have to deal with it again on the off chance it does go bad soon.

me personally... id run it till it blows... then replace with a bigger engine
but it looks loose, buy a tensioner and while ur in there might as well do a belt.
