basic bolt ons....exhaust hearders intake...some say they dont respond that well but i can feel the difference...then possibly move to a port and polish and while that going on build the internals then turbo that sob

a z6 is a good motor to boost. some can make over 400hp if done right. id do some internal work and beef up the head. make sure it gets more fuel if boosting. bigger injectors, hp fuel pump, etc... but remember to have it tuned right. basic bolt ons help very little in terms of gaining a lot of hp. they'll free up a few horses but a d-series motor just won't respond as well to those as much as b or h motors, which by the way love to breath for power

You do realize that if he ends up boosting his z6, that he's going to replace all of that, right?

I would only worry about beefing up the internals and the head. You won't see huge differences before boost, but after your boosted your motor will be much more dependable.
