how do I make my VTEC work?
The P28 ECU plugs right in, you all you’ll need to do is wire the VTEC up. First, you’ll need to get an engine plug from a junkyard for the VTEC solenoid oil pressure.

You’ll need to run the blue wire (or whichever color is from the plug) to pin D6, and then run the black ground wire from the plug to anywhere on the motor. You then need to run the green wire from the VTEC solenoid to pin A4.

no need to worry you car is wired for VTEC already!

All del sols are prewired for it.

It's pre-wired. Go to Rytech and buy the proper harnesses.

All the civics and del sols are prewired between any trim model. Ex: If you dont have a tach and want one, its already prewired for it.

not exactly

ALL del sols, regardless of year were prewired. ALL 92 civics were prewired, after that, only civics that came with VTEC were pre-wired for it.

Someone also told me about a "tap" for the vtec soilenoid on the block between the #2 cylinder and #3 clylinder. Every Honda block I've seen has this. What exactly do you do with it, and will he need to do the same?

my block already has a vtec soilenoid so that wont be necessary, your probably thinking of an ls/vtec motor

if you can get an EX/Si engine harness will make all the wiring plug and play. Or just wire up a subharness for VTEC pressure switch and VTEC solenoid. I think the above poster is referring to the oil jet that you have to remove when you do a mini me swap which isn't relevent to what you are doing.
