Default D16Z6 into a 1996 or 1997 Civic EX

I totaled my Del Sol and was able to salvage the built turbo D16Z6 motor. I have been looking at Honda Civics and have found a few that look really promising. I was wondering how difficult of a swap it would be to purchase a 1996 or 1997 Honda civic EX and swap in the turbo Z6. The motor was OBD 1 but im not sure if all civic Ex's post '95 are all obd 2. Will I be able to swap the motor into a civic if its obd 2?? When I pulled the motor out of the del sol I did not pull the wiring harness with it. so I wasnt sure if I could still put it in an obd 2 car and just hook the obd 2 wiring harness to the Z6. Any help would be appreciated.

96 up civic is obd2.
so you would need a jumper harness to plug in your obd1 ecu.
if you decide to swap your built z6 in.

[someone correct me if im wrong]

not sure if you can use the same ecu for the z6 on your new car.
as for the harness you can still use the stock harness on your new car [saying you got a 96 up civic] you would need a jumping harness to plug in your z6 ecu since its obd1.

if your z6 is turbo wouldnt you be using an ecu chipped for turbo?

Yes, I would be running the Hondata S300 for tuning...I just wasnt sure if I had to stick with obd 1 vehicles when I was looking for cars. I found a 1997 and 1998 but thought I wouldn't be able to swap the z6 into the car. so all I need is a conversion harness? everything else bolts right up?
