Classic Mini Cooper d16z6 swap exhaust tone.
Hey guys! Im swapping a d16z6 from a 95 Del Sol into a classic mini. I just got it running a few nights ago, but I haven't put an exhaust on yet. The headers I have are from Amazon (Dynamik Header 2 Pc. 4-2-1). They are pretty cheap looking, but they are the only ones that I could manage to fit that wouldn't completely destroy my bank account. Im looking for an exhaust that will give me a nice throaty sound, but not ridiculously loud. I had a 2008 Mini Cooper S that I straight piped and really liked the sound of, and I was aiming for a sound that was similar. Something kind of like this:
Also, I would like it to be dual exit in the center to keep the original look of the exhaust that was on the car originally. I need to add a cat to the exhaust to make it meet emissions as well.
Any input would be awesome! Thanks!

Re: d16z6 exhaust tone.
Honestly if money is the issue and you're going cheap with the headers might as well throw a ebay universal exhaust on. Personally If im stock... my exhaust is also stock. Just alot of noise if it isn't being used for performance.
