Default d16z6 dizzy problems

i swapped a z6 into my 96 ex and im wondering if i can use my y8 dizzy on my z6 and if i can if someone can give me a diy to get it to work.

yes only the top slot of the dizzy will line up and you will need to dremel and ream the slot out alil bit and it will work and the 12mm bolt to fit. this way you do not need to get a conversion harness for it. ive been running mine this way for yrs now and it works fine and my ignititon timing is rite one. i have a z6 in my 97.

ok one of my friends is saying that we have to turn the dizzy completly upside down to line up the holes and what not like a ls dizzy is this true or do we put it in normal drimmel the wholes and find the firing order and adjust the timing.
