Icon2 D16Z6 CUTTING OFF

JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SEE IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ANYBODY BEFORE I HAVE A 1995 WITH A D16Z6 SWAP AND YESTERDAY I WAS JUST SITTING AT THE STOP LIGHT AND IT SHUT DOWN WAS RUNNING FINE AND JUST CUT OFF DID IT TWICE AND IT ALSO DID IT ONCE THIS MORNING BUT WILL CRANK RIGHT BACK UP AND RUN FINE AND IDLE FINE ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREAT

Have you replaced the fuel filter lately? I would pressure test the fuel sysytem and see if the pump is doing its job.

EASY WITH THE CAPITAL LETTERS NEXT TIME

i just replaced the fuel pump about a month ago and the fuel relay or main relay what ever u want to call it . have a new fuel filter but the old one will not come off i tried everthing but i dont want to pull much harder on it bc i dont want to bend the lines up . any suggestion on that

What do you mean the fuel filter wont come off? Relieve the pressure out of the fuel system by pulling the fuse under the hood and let it run out of fuel until it stalls. You DO NOT want to crack the lines and have fuel go all over.

yea i released the pressure by taking it loose at the fuel rail and drain into a cup then tried to get it off its like the hard line that goes it to it is froze on .

same thing was happening to me with my z6 swap into my 95 civic. try the ignition module. sounds random i know, but i went through everything and after i changed that it was all good.

i must be loosing it were is the ignition module located at.

its inside the distributor. when u take off the cap then take off the rotor, it will be on the bottom and itll be held in by 2 screws. be careful of the connectors that go to the coil and remember which goes to which. leme know if that works.
