d16z6 bored 20 over or d16y8 for turbo
Just want to see what people have to say.
Should i bore out the z6 and run oversized pistons?
Or the y8 and drill the oil galley bigger, run the z6 oil pump and z6 crank?
The z6 has 150k and the cylinders are a bit worn
the y8 i have has 55k on it.
I have scat rods, i just need to figure out what engine to get pistons for.

Re: (KevLo)
thanks for the response.
Im trying to make a decent d series motor.
I already have a civic with a b18 and an integra b18 turbo, and am trying something new.
Im just playing around cause i have tons of honda parts laying around, 2 y8 motors 1 z6, and 3 d15's.
Has anyone verified that drilling the oil pasages bigger and using the z6 stuff in the y8 has fixed the lack of oil problem that causes spun bearings.
