I'm not sure, but shouldn't you be asking this question before you do the swap?

i just did the exact same swap as u are going to do soon.i did a d16z6 to b16a jdm sir 2 swap.everything is plug and play and fits perfectly, but because my b16a swap comes with complete engine harness and they are all uncut.so i dont need to run any hanrness..the ecu harness too.but they are both obd1.and i use a p30 ecu that comes with the swap.and if u want to use your p28 ecu, it has to be chipped in order to be running perfect with b16a swap.

this guy did the swap the way it should be done but either the p30 or p28 is fine but if you have the p28 you might as well just take it to a place to get chipped and then get your b16 tuned as well.
