Im in the process of puting my block back together and I want to double check the install procedure of rod bearings. I've done them before, however when I pulled them out the other day they looked like crap. The motor had less than 500 miles on it and they should not have looked that bad. I have a brand new oem honda oil pump on the engine and used brand new ACL race bearing last time and will be using them again. If anyone has a link or input I would appreciate it. Ive looked all over the web and have found a few sites talking about it but I just want to make sure from fellow hone owners. Thanks

they're kinda hard to install wrong. there is a tang on 1 end. i'd be more concerned with your bearing clearances.

Yeah they are a no brainer. My main questions are do I insert them dry on the rods and the portion that touches the crank just apply moly lube? Give me a minute and I'll post some pics to get your thoughts on the ones I just took out. Thanks

Is it me or do they look like crap? One or two of them had the little clips busted off. When I took them out the little piece came with it.
