lol how do you guys know that this dude doesnt have a built D series? hmm...a built D series...isnt that like making a sculpture out of a mound of dog poop?
lol sorry...but to answer your question, do what someone else said and get a OBD1 chipped P28, and an OBD1 conversion harness. Plug in, blow up, rinse, repeat.

maybe its in an airplane then. Maybe he's trying to hit VTEC at 35000 feet. That takes atleast 15k RPM.

Re: (B serious)
I am building the motor as we speak and talk trash anything is cool people have the right to there opinion .crane cam ,crower rods ,new upgrade crank and rod bearings to match ,block guard ,over sized pistons over sized valves hv oil pump, performer X intake ,cold air intake ,larger throttle body, upgraded fuel system .Thinking of putting a turbo,
was just wondering if there was a was to get rid of the rev limiter from the stock ecu working on getting a hondata s500 to control everything.

The stock crank can hold up to 600whp. Plenty of people pushin 500-800 whp on stock cranks and even the rod bearings.
Don't waste your time on half of those parts for a turbo. If you're going to boost it, get good valves, retainers, and springs. Maybe pistons if you need them.
Hondata is a finicky program and I hate wrking with it. Crome is free and I've helped tune a couple low boost projects on it. It's easy to use and most tuners prefer Crome or Neptune over hondata where I've been.
Even with a 500whp you'd want a rev limiter, with a hella badass motor that you've invested time and lots of money why would you risk blowing it up like that?
Your motor is too valuable with a strong build to rev it like a ricer.

So you're doing all that expensive *** bullshit and it's NOT tuned (as any tuning program can remove the limiter)????
All of that, no tune.
Hrm.
All of that, no tune.
Hrm....
All of that and no tune...
Hrrmm.......
Conclusion:
Let the pros do the work.
Fuel mileage sinks to negative viper mileage...
Engine go "boom" - and I'm not talking about the ignition stroke.

hmmm just thought id highlight a few more things... like stated before, a new crank is unnecessary and i believe if you were to get one, it would have to be custom made. as for oversized pistons- what size since anything above 75.5mm will probably require sleeves. oversized valves also are not necessary unless you want 450+whp lol ive seen multiple setups with mostly stock heads push 400whp. and the hv oil pump... i havent seen one of those for the d series unless you get it custom made or do the endyn modification. and all together why do all this on a d series if you are only thinking of turboing it? you wont break 170whp n/a so whats the point? even with turbo you probably wont need to rev past 8200-8500 so keep that in mind unless you have money to keep building engines. and lastly, also like stated above, there is no s500. now before you waste more time, money, and threadspace, do some more research... you are kind of on track, but not there yet.
