d16y8 no crank but has power

hi i have a 97 civic ex and i try to turn it on and it doesnt crank but everything will turn on and it will only turn on when i roll start it

Check rubber stopper at top of clutch pedal.

It also could be a bad starter. Remove your old one and take it to an auto parts store to have it tested.

Friend of mine is having this problem. I thought about the clutch pedal trigger too, but his is an automatic.
