D16Y8 Distributor
Does anyone know what causes a code to set for the tdc/ckp/cyp sensors insid the distributor to set a code. Resistance is 354 ohms for all, no short to ground. The ecu sets the code but the engine runs fine. What voltage do the sensors recieve from the ECU. What is the clearance between the rotors and the sensor. I have been fighting this code for weeks now. I have tried changing sensors and using other distributors. Starting to think maybe a problem with the ECU. Any info would be very helpful. Thanks

The sensors don't receive a voltage from the ECU - you could disconnect the distributor from the main engine harness, put a multi-meter on the sensor wires, crank the engine over and an A.C. voltage would be produced.
Give more specifics about when the problem started and such. Was the distributor ever working?
