I have a d16a6 in my 89 civic hatchback. The problem is, is that the engine will not redline...it gets to about 5500, then sputters, and each gear the RPM gets lower and lower. And when my engine is cold it will only go to 4,000 and then to 3,000 for the othr gears! I changed spark plugs, fuel filter, and i have the right ECU. What else could it be????? SOmeone help me out!!!!

check out the EF Civic/CRX FOrum. They have the same cars as you and have more experience with that year. This is 92+ Civic
