Default D16a1 pistons on a z6

I looking at buying some new pistons and from what I hear the A1's are the ticket. What I'm wondering though is what other changes should I make to my engine to prevent any mishaps (besides rods). The compression will be 12.0:1 which is pretty high so I just wanted to know whether or not I can trust my engine to withstand it. Also does anyone know where to get some a1 pistons and ls rods? thanks

the biggest thing will probably be tuning. Also make sure you are running i would say at least 93 octange gas. So get some hondata and get that biatch tuned
