Default D16 Turbo vs B18B?

Ok. I tried the search and nothing. Only about d16 turbo vs b18b turbo. I want to know if I should turbo my D or swap it for a B18B. Here's the setup:

D16 Turbo
Full turbo kit w/fmic
custom 2.5in catless exh.
Apexi V-tec Controller for now.

vs.

B18B All Motor
Should I go for B16 tranny, LS tranny, or if I can get one, a GSR tranny? (hopefully in a year, and if this is going to be my setup, would want to go turbo in the future)
and the usual, intake, headers, and 2.5in catless exh.

Which will take me faster in the 1/4 mile? How about handling? These are some of my predictions, let me know if I'm wrong here. Thanks!

gas mileage: b>d
reliability: b>d
dyno king: b<d
1/4 mile: b>d? b<d?
handling: b>d

well, i think n/a vs. boost is partial prefference. They are die hard n/a peolpe as well as boost people. Honestly, i think turbo would be best bang for buck. Although a b-series would respond better, you first have to spend the money to get, when by then you may already have a boosted d-series. Thats my $.02.

A turbo d will kill all but the big$$$ all motor b-series. My last run was 11.2@122 on low boost.

WOW. I just got done reading 9 pages of your build up. DAMN, that's wicked! I was wondering, on street tires, 13.2 was your fastest time, right? May i ask how much did it cost you for the WHOLE setup? also the number of hours? Thanks bro!

gas mileage: b>d (Depends on tune, tranny and how hard u drive it. My D16-T with DX tranny gets 32mpg and staying off boost most of the time. B16/EX tranny will lower mpg.)
reliability: b>d (true for the most part since you have turbo wear and tear to worry about. But with a good tune, D can be reliable to some extent)
dyno king: b<d (By a long shot)
1/4 mile: b>d? b<d? (D FTW)
handling: b>d (If refering to Auto-X, I'd think a D16 with a low spooling turbo would give the B a good run)
Bang for the Buck: D > B

for some numbers on the B18B builds, check out this guy: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1700769 He's got a PnP head to boot, regrinds. Expect numbers lower than his. Turbod16 will still post better numbers even on low boost.

Do the LS swap with a GSR tranny then boost..thats my plan, the GSR tranny will make the LS quick. Even a b16 or ITR tranny would be good also.

I have a hard time driving it on street tires, 12.8 is the best run on em. When it ran the 11.0@137 I had a total of $4500 in the whole car. I have a lot more in it now trying to make it more durable.

That's what my plan is going to be IF i decide to go B-series, since the B16 tranny is tooo short and the ITR tranny is tooo expensive.
