D16 engine rebuild?
Hey, Does anyone know any good sites with guides to rebuild D16 doing pistons with rings, rods, cam This is going to be my first engine rebuild so any help would be great. I will be working with someone else who knows more about it, I just want make sure everything is done right... thanks alot for any help

take pictures and unscrew bolts....just dismantile it like yo would any other engine, first the VC, then the belts, so on and so forth
Also, if it's in a car, I would pull it before rebuilding it, it's hella lot easier :-P

Yea im leaving the engine and turbo setup i have in my car so i can drive around. Im buying a d16 motor block with head so its going to be already out. The trans is off just block with head. then once its built will be putting in HB. Just looking for any guides that can help with taking out pistons rods and putting back together.

Blocks out of the car are always easier to work on
