d15z1 dist?
well. I have a d15z1 in my car right now, I plan on putting a sohc vtec in. What is worth salvaging from the VX to use on the d16z6/y8?
does the VX dist work on a sohc vtec head?
can i reuse the vtec seliniond from the VX head?
head bolts?

i know you will be able to use the VX dizzy on a z6 since they have the same mounting pattern. not quite sure about the y8. you should search, i remember seeing a couple of threads about this

Re: (V-Tech Bauley)
a was aware about the mounting issues of an obd1 dist on the y8 head.
my car will be obd1 (even if i run thet y8 head) so my VX dist should work then right?
I might use a shell from a obd2 dist and swap internals so it mounts right and work with my chipped p28 ecu.

Re: (turbo sol)
i said i was aware of the mounting issues, people have ran their dist with only 2 legs attached and such. I planned on using the obd2 shell as I stated to keep that from being a problem.
I didn't know if their were sensors inside the dist that would cause a problem.
sounds like everything will work fine. thanks.
