Icon2 D15XX bottom end Question

First of all i'm truly sorry if i have posted this in anyway not according to the site rules and regulations (its my second post, its hard for me to ask for help due to my mental handicap ( i truly have bipolar and when the racing thoughts its hard to put them down as fast as it happens.). I WILL WORK TO POST BETTER NEXT TIME.

My question starts with a story. i have a DX with D15 that has spun a rod bearing and possible a main ( will be checking in next few days ). My question is that due to my budget can i just replace with stock main and rod bearings and new crank without having to check all the specs? cause to me if the block is not ate away at the mains the replacing all the bearings and crank to stock then there should be no reason to have specs. also is there anything else i'm overlooking before such an endeavor? i know how to replace everything the part i dont know is all the clearances issues, have good general mechanical skill. i dont have the ability to swap right know but working on it. and sorry once again for spazzing out here. any help would be most helpful and appreciated for a fellow honda enthusiast.

While I would advise against it, assuming neither the block nor the rods were damages, you should be able to get away with a new crank and normal size bearings, and a new oil pump wouldn't be a bad idea either. That being said, I would at least plastiguage the new bearings, just as a little reassurance.
