D15B7...good motor?
I am looking at a 92 civic DX...it has 230k on the motor and it is pretty cheap. I am just wondering if that is a good motor. The car was adult drive..oil changed every 3k and all regular maintence was done. TIA

If it was properly maintained, it should be reliable. Just see if when the timing belt/water pump was replaced.
If it blows up, swap a better motor in.

considering d series engine are a dime a dozen a low mile d would only cost a couple bills if that to replace...id say if the price is right even if the egine blows you should make out like a bandit! the only thing i would be concerned about is the chasis having so many miles...id chk the suspension and overall frame..rust and **** like that...if the bodys good. you know a couple dents and dings are ok.. id prolly pay upto $800-$1000...

The D15b7 is a good motor but since it has a lot of miles on it I would just granny drive it til you can get a swap. I love mine.
