D15B Vtec Motor swap, CEL on now, TPS sensor......
Did a motor swap from a D15B7 non vtec to a D15B VTEC, got motor in and ran fine, Check engine lihgt came on, Code 7 7 short blinks, I think thats TPS sensor, So I swapped out the sensor, and took reset computer and still getting code 7 WTF???
I used the harness from the D15B7 to the D15B so EVERYTHING should be right! only thing that was different is, on the intake mannifold, right above the IAT sensor the other sensor witht he vaccume line to the intake manny was NOt there on the D15B vtec, I still plugged it in a let it hang.

you are correct.. code 7 is TPS. easiest thing to do is get a multimeter and check things over with all the wiring of the TPS.. maybe one of the wires came apart of the connector..
the sensor you are talking about with the vaccum hose going to it is for emissions. Its the purge selinoid and even with the sensor unplugged, the ecu will not throw any codes.

ok, so ill check the TPS and it's connector and see if any wires came loose.
It was weired, I thought I had the wrong connector hooked up ( witht he 3 sensors on the intake manny purge,AIC,and IAT) And I switched them, And I got rid of TPS, but then I threw code 10 For IAT sensor, although, started the car up and it idled like ****.
So it has to be a loose wire on the connector, ill check, but i don't think thats it................

check and make sure you didnt switch the TPS connector with the MAP connector.. those two connectors are exactly the same.. although if that was the case you would throw a MAP sensor code also. I dont know its worth a shot.

ok, well checked the TPS wires, they are ALL connectec in the connector, and no the TPS sensor connector will not REACH to plug into the MAP sensor, so they are not switched....
This is REALLY weird..
Ill swap Throttle bodies and see what that does, mabey something on the throttle thing on the TB is messed up on the D15B

heres another thing i might add.....
The JDM D15B had a 1 wire o2 sensor, I though I coulnt use this harness due to my car having a 4 wire o2 sensor, so I swapped harnesses.
Could i have used the D15B Harness? or will the computer know that thsi harness is ment for a 1 wire o2 sensor?
