d15b vtec head/d15z4 block, p29 pistons/d15b7 rods - engine knocking & no power
hey HT
i just got a d15b vtec head on my d15z4 engine, used p29 pistons, d15b7 rods.
compression ratio on the d-series calculator is 10.2:1
i have knocking sound in my engine like hell, i just retarded my engine to make it stop, but no power at all
i have 2" exhaust and intake. and use 95 octane fuel
should i get bigger injectors like 240?! cuz i heard that d15z4 injectors are 180
my car is 99LXi

anyone?! please note i have non vtec ecu and i'm using vtec controler for the vtec switchover (Fields SFC)
should i change my fuel pump?! injectors?! fuel pressure regulator?!

You retarded ur engine??? wth does that mean, u retarded the ignition timing or you dialed the cam back via a cam gear?? Have u checked ur ignition timing with a timing light??

16 degrees btdc, make sure u jump the cel connector to let the ecu know what ur doing. IF u cant get it right, than ur mechanical timing is jacked up

first off, get a p28. secondly, get 240cc injectors. thirdly, get a tune

Yes u definetly need 240cc injectors and some way to add extra fuel. U will need a wideband to know what ur air/fuel ratio is and a fpr could add the extra gas through increased pressure or u could get real engine managment like hondata or crome
