Default D15B valve cover gasket...

Ok, so I got my THIRD one today and again WRONGGGG..!!!! I've tried two different D16Z6 ones and a D15B7 and neither worked both were about an inch and a half to long... I could have swore that the z6 gasket was it but I even tried using different brand names and had no luck... I've searched and found others have had this issue but the only answer they ever get is USE A Z6 GASKET, and my argument is that i've tried several and none work... Anyone know a place to get specific gaskets...?? Kinda gay cuz d15b head an z6 heads are identical..

Yeah, just buy the gasket kit for the 1.6. That's what I did for my d15b - "marquisdee1018" from thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/2043792

You got a z6 gasket and it didn't work? The d15b is a 1.5 block with a regular d16z6 head valve cover is interchangeable with y8 and z6 either of those gaskets will work.

I was fixing some one car, few years back.
Went to autozone and bought gasket. Didnt fit so went back like 3 times. I was really pissed of, so i bought a universal gasket for honda/ forgot. End up being alittle bit longer, so I snipped the gasket and use some gasket sealer. Well dont do what i did, but if you had no choice, cut it. What a half *** job i did.

i thought about that actually but then was thinkin theres prolly a reason why those things are so thick to fit in that groove, i doubt it holds up as well as a stock gasket but then again theres not much pressure in there so who knows... might be my last resort..

My buddy came over to my house. I told him to pop the hood just to make sure there wasnt any leaks. Cant believe it 3 1/2 years with no leak, not even a oil stain around the gasket.

My grammar was so bad,I had to edit this post twice
