d15b issues
Sup guys. Just wondering if any of you guys have an idea whats going on with my motor. I am almost ready to boost it but want it to run perfect before to prevent any problems later.
Here goes, this is a jdm d15b in a 95 civic. No cel. Idles really rough at idle. When warmed up, it idles some what smooth but below 500rpms. Smells like its not running right. Timing is on, check the valves and those are within spec. Just got new plugs (for a z6, don't know if it makes that much of a difference) and they are already black. The car leaves black smoke on the bumper. It does not burn oil, so I'm guessing its running rich.
Once again, totally stock d15b on a stock p28 ecu. Would the idle air control valve being doing this? Once again no cel.
Thanks for your time guys.
