Default d15b block with d16y8 head....

i just put a d15b block with a y8 head....somethings wrong wit my timing. it wont strat..and yes i know how to do timing. One thing unusual is that i can put the timing belt back on the cam gear little rough but with the TENSINER TIGHT!!!!!! and the belt seems lose. Whats worng what did i do wrong?

maybe wrong belt....i think there are some that are only 1 tooth difference....maybe autozone gave you the wrong belt....wouldn't be the 1st time

well u can loosen the tension on the belt unless u already let it loose all the way...if not that then maybe distrubutor...
