Default D Series Flywheel

Any d-series out there with lightened flywheels? How light is it, and have you had any problems with it? I've been warned not to go below 10lbs on a d-series but nobody has been able to tell me why. I need a new one and i don't want to go stock, have any insight into this?

Thanks..

I had a 13 lb lightened factory flywheel in my civic. It made it a huge turd. Not good for daily driving. Those motors need all the extra *** they can get.

Did you ever try to drive with A/C on. That can be a problem. It just takes getting used to, but it's not a step up in all-around driving.

I run a JUN ultralight, 9lbs. in my crx. I love it. I would run a 9oz. flywheel if they made it. The lighter the better for me.

No problems at all with the flywheel. It's a very very well made part.
