A D-series pulley will NOT work on a B-series engine and vice-versa. The cranks are totally different and are different sizes. If you measure the center of the D-series pulley you will see that it is approximately 1 inch in diameter. On the other side the pulley for the B-series engine is approximately 1.5 inches in diameter - thus making them not compatible between the series.
