So I am swapping out a motor and transferring the old tranny to the new block. i think to myself... oh there is the transmission fluid filter and pull this


off thinking id swap it out. i was wrong. and now i dont know how to get it back together.

[edit] I got it put back together by just pressing in 1 spring at a time and sliding it in, but I am still curious about what exactly it does.

also if you're feeling frisky... how do you remove the 12 point bolts on the torque converter without a 12 point socket? or should i just go buy the socket...
