Default CX vs. EX/SI Axels: ANy real difference?

In the event of having the options to get axels with some other parts... should I even bother spending the extra money on EX/SI axels or should I just keep the CX ones?

I'm asking because later I plan on Turbo charging of course, and it's a SOHC motor anyway... but is there any true difference between the two?

I am pretty sure that the ex/si axles are stronger

You know.. Emerika.. i've been trying to figure out how the EX/SI ones are stronger... but some people just insist on it.

Im not spending any money on them. I'll keep my CX's. Thanks.

I dunno why they would be. All of the non ABS 92-95 Civic D series axles are identical. I have used CX, DX, EX, and my stock Si axles in my car. No physical difference and the part numbers are the same.

If you prove me wrong, I'll send you a pair of Si/EX axles

I doubt you'll snap one.

If anything, you'll be blowing diffs before axles....lol.

My friend was launching 180 whp D16A6 boosted on 24 inch slicks and the axles showed no wear

Rad. I'll save my money and put it elsewhere then. Proof is always the best advice.
