CX door lock question
Ok, i tried a bunch of searches but couldnt find my answer and im probably going to make an *** out of myself for asking , but...
I recently bought a '92 cx hatch and the only way for me to lock the two doors is by using my key. I can't lock the doors from the inside unless i roll down my windows and lock my doors from the outside with my key. Is this how the cx's came? Someone mentioned how its a "security" feature so you dont lock your keys inside the car, but im unsure about that one.
Please clarify.
TIA

you can push in the passengers side then close the door and it will be locked, but as far as the drivers side you cannot lock it from the inside. at least thats how my 93 canadian cx is???

Re: (umop-apisdn)
thanks guys!! do the dx and si's have the same issue?
if not, are there parts i can swap from them into my cx that will allow me to use the door locks "normally?" (lock/unlock both doors from the inside of the car)

Re: (mike93eh)
I removed my inner door locks once I got my EH/CX to prevent theft.....and ya know what, it worked and saved me thousands.
Who cares if ya can only lock/unlock from the outside? It never bothered me.
