Be patient and wait it out. Do things the safe way not the fast way.

There is actually a right way and a wrong way to cut springs. Cutting a spring the correct way will get you a normal ride but a lower ride height. The wrong way, well, you know. I don't know the procedure as i'd never cut springs my self anyway.

Oh and by the way, cutting the springs will lower the car and make the ride stiffer/bouncy ALWAYS WITH NO EXCEPTIONS THIS IS THE RULE!!!

if your gonna cut the spring make sure you have a welder hand for this to correct spring allignment, cut the flat top off of the springs with a hand saw then cut what you want off but add a half of an inch to allow you to wend back on the to cut piece, then weld on the top so it sits directly in position of the shock, now you will have your lower ride it will feel just like a coil over set with out the adgusting plates we did it to an ek once and it made a huge difference than just cutting the springs

if the spring rates are too low then it's going to be the same as cutting stock springs, ride is fine until you hit a pothole...
