Cutting Springs
If I cut my Eibach Springs will the ride be different...? I am asking this question because I am broke right now but I want to drop my car even lower then it already is, but I can't afford coilovers right now....Help Me

There is actually a right way and a wrong way to cut springs. Cutting a spring the correct way will get you a normal ride but a lower ride height. The wrong way, well, you know. I don't know the procedure as i'd never cut springs my self anyway.

if your gonna cut the spring make sure you have a welder hand for this to correct spring allignment, cut the flat top off of the springs with a hand saw then cut what you want off but add a half of an inch to allow you to wend back on the to cut piece, then weld on the top so it sits directly in position of the shock, now you will have your lower ride it will feel just like a coil over set with out the adgusting plates we did it to an ek once and it made a huge difference than just cutting the springs
