how would i bolt in a aftermarket cd player? and because it is a 1 din cd player, i would still have to have a plate around it to cover the area surrounding the cd player, right?

Re: (fresh99si)
the aftermarket cd player should have come with some screws when you take out the cubby you should see a bracket down there your cd player will bolt in the same way the cubby does but involves taking all that **** down there out. the cup holders and center console and climate control. you can just get the block off plate to take care of the hole up top.

you have to get the 96-98 civic pocket with the flip-up cupholders, because you have a 99 civic you have the pocket with the two different size cupholders and a big pocket. Just get the other style pocket and you will be set.
