Default 99 civic Cd relocation

Ok.. I want to put my cd player in the opening by the cup holders and throw my gagues for my turbo **** where the cd player is currently... Do any of you know where I can buy the mount for the cd player or the guages or do I have to go custom.. And yes I searched. I found some one making them for 96-98 but no dice for 99. Thanks yo's.

hmm, i would think you can make some custom brackets. just go to a local home depot if anything and see if they have anything you could use. other than that, i believe the radio harness should be long enough to bring your radio down like a foot (more or less) so extending the wires shouldn't be a question.

you dont need any brackets to do this. when you take teh plastic off of teh center console there is a screw on each side holding the tray in place. use these screws to screw into the holes on the side of your radio. you dont need to extend the wires they will reach. i will try to get pics of mine soon.

Same here I just switched the radios out there was no extra brackets needed like everyone said you need. If you have an aftermarket cd player you will be fine.

I did the same thing, no custom mounts needed, just a few screws. Makes the car look so much better.
