cusco roll cage
Well I have scoured the net and the forums but just cannot seem to find what I'm looking for. Does Cusco make a bolt in roll cage for the eg hatch? I've seen ek ( hatch and coupes) and s2ks but not much else. If they do does anyone have pics? Thanks again.

Re: cusco roll cage (etward)
I would highly suggest in NOT getting a Cusco "roll cage"...design is garbage, tubing is crap(bends), and the joints are miserably weak...

Proof? (articles, personal stories, etc)
Not trying to have an argument or anything, it's just that I've heard Cusco cages are not very good cages but I have yet to see some decent proof behind everybody's statement.

See the way the foreward bars are curved around the dashboard? They will be better than nothing in a crash, but will fail easily.
All of the joints are slide in fastened with bolts. A proper bolt in cage will use slip joints(like Kirk or Autopower).
These "bars" are good for slight chassis stiffening(which isn't the reason for a cage, it's a benefit) and show cars. This would NEVER pass tech in any sanctioning body in the US.
