Default ctr tranny

would it make any signifigant difference if i put a civic type r tranny onto a b16a2?

any other engine suggestions
im trying to not spend so much money, but i still wanna be pretty quick but not super fast.

Not really, only advange is lsd.

And I'm not positive, but the final drive might be different.

But either way probably not worth it unless you track your car and have the money.

If you're looking for LSD get an OBX lsd and rebuild it.

gears are shorter atleast I think not to sure but b16 tranny will be good enough

pre-98 JDM ITR & CTR = USDM ITR gear ratios
98+ JDM ITR = USDM ITR 1-3 and USDM GSR 4-5 with 4.785 final drive

The gear ratios and final drive are the same. The only significant difference is the LSD.

if i have a stock b16a2 and and put a stroker kit to it, would that give me good torque number?

lets say 1.6 to 1.8
is it worth the money?
has anyone seen a good stroker kit for less than 1000

if u still want to stay cheap y dont u just go with a ls vtec or b20 vtec with a b16 or gsr or type r tranny and start kicking some *** with a well built ls vtec thats just my 2 cents

gsr block + b16 head = poormans type R.. Then get the red vavle cover to go faster.

what about that light blue that mugen uses... that would be way faster just cuz of that you know.
