CTR shift boot
Hey, what's up guys, the problem of the week is that i installed a OEM CTR shift boot and now the stock shifter won't fit. I could force it in, but i think that the little ring on top might break. Any suggestions? Right now i am using a ITR replica shift ****, that's the only other **** i can use that i have. Also, do you guys think a si or ls/gsr shift **** will fit withouth breaking the plastic ring?

Re: CTR shift boot (mr_nemesis2003)
its not supposed to go down all the way on the shifter. just push it down far enough so that the hard plastic ring doesnt break

Of course. They're Type-R knockoffs.

A CTR boot will accommodate most aftermarket shift *****. The only problem is how deeply countersunk the oem **** is.
Also, if you're **** like me and hate that look of the shift boot sagging when you have a type r or type r-style **** (ie, skunk2, blox, etc), you can use two neoprene rubber washers (available for all of $0.10 each at a hardware store) on the shifter arm, and then install the shift boot over it.

Cool, thanks for the tip, i used to put tape in shifter arm in order to make it hold, a lil ghetto, but it got the job done, well, atleast is used black electric tape so no one could see it. Also, would any one know where to get the bolt that comes w/ the itr shift ****, i'm guessing a hardware store, but what size.
