CTR CF Gauge Bezel into SI Gauge Cluster?
i was wondering how to install a CTR CF Gauge Bezel into an SI Gauge Cluster?
i opened it up and was going to install it, but realized that there's a key opening on the cluster (bottom left between tach and speedometer) which prevents me from putting it in.
anyone had this done?
i know someone who did it, but don't know how. do you guys take it out? what is that key opening for anways?

Re: CTR CF Gauge Bezel into SI Gauge Cluster? (:hammer:)
I cut the maintenance switch off altogether
some people actually make a hole in the ctr bezel
but I didnt want to since I never use that maintenance thing anyway
I always track my maintenance by mileage
here is a pic of my cluster

Most people order the canadian cluster cover (it doesnt have the maitenance thing) and just remove the whole thing all together. After you get it in check this how to out:

I cut the maintenance switch off altogether
indicator when it turns orange, then red. Or do you just leave it red and call it a day.
Thanks.

I removed the whole maintence reset button all together. Forgot how I did it, but if you are technically inclined you can figure it out. It was really easy.
Oh and the benifit of doing this way versus cutting it off is that it no longer rolls and will stay green.
If you want to just cut it off, just use some wire cutters and cut it off.

I like the look without the maintenance switch. This is probably a stupid question, but I can't think of the answer right now, how do you reset the green color
indicator when it turns orange, then red. Or do you just leave it red and call it a day.
Thanks.

Stick your key in the hole to reset it.
